Claro,

Lo que hace es detectar el ultimo "." , luego crear un "buffer" con GlobalAlloc y metiendo hay el contenido que viene luego de ese "." , detecta el ultimo "." sumando el tamaño total de la cadena y luego en un bucle decrementando
